Laurence ("Laurey") Millspaugh, President of Buvermo since 2006, has been active in Washington commercial real estate since 1981. Prior to Buvermo, he was Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for both the privately held B.F. Saul Company and the publicly traded NYSE REIT Saul Centers, Inc. Before Saul, he held development and leasing positions at Buchanan Company and Henry A. Long Company. Laurey has served as Chairman of the Route 28 Landowners Commercial Tax District, on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Northern Virginia (NAIOP) and 2002 Member of the Year, on the Executive Committee for LEADER, the property owner's group that led to the formation of the Tysons-Dulles Metro-Rail Tax District and on the Board of Directors of the Ballston Partnership. He also served on a ULI Study Group for Redevelopment of Landmark Mall. Laurey received a B.S in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the Darden School at University of Virginia.
Jim Lindsey, Vice President, joined Buvermo in 2011. He is responsible for sourcing new investments and takes an active role in managing the existing portfolio. Prior experience also includes positions with TA Associates Realty, JRK Property Holdings and CB Richard Ellis. He received a B.S. in accounting from the University of Southern California and an MBA with a concentration in real estate from the University of Wisconsin.
Kevin is responsible for sourcing new investment and development projects throughout the Southeastern United States. Prior to Buvermo, Kevin spent 15 years with Duball, LLC specializing in acquisitions, asset management and development of over $600 million in assets. Kevin has experience with a wide variety of product types including: office, residential, mixed-use commercial projects, hotel, retail, and high-rise projects. He earned a MBA from Georgetown University and a BS in Finance from Santa Clara University.
Billy is responsible for overseeing the company's treasury function and financial systems. Prior to joining Buvermo, he was the Chief Financial Officer for the Ross Companies, a Mid-Atlantic multifamily owner and manager. Prior to the Ross Companies, he worked at CohnReznick LLP where he provided audit and tax services for commercial real estate clients and closely held businesses. He received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Master of Accounting from West Virginia University.
Nick is responsible for managing the overall program for each project, from inception through project completion, and associated budgets. Prior experience includes owner/builder companies such as The Bozzuto Group, Suffolk Construction, and JLB Partners where he was involved in functions from preconstruction to project management. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science.
Natalie is responsible for overseeing operations for Buvermo’s active adult vertical. In addition, she takes an active role in developing company processes and procedures. Prior experience included roles as Regional Vice President at both RKW Residential and Pegasus Residential. She spent several years with Greystar Real Estate in Charlotte where she was a Director of Real Estate. She holds her CAPS designation along with her North Carolina Brokers License. She has served on the Board of Directors with the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association along with several committees.
Casey is responsible for assisting with the development and construction management of Arden's projects throughout the Southeast. Casey previously worked for Clark Construction in both project development and on-site project delivery. Her previous experience includes high-rise residential, healthcare, government, education, office, and distribution projects. She holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.
Garrett is responsible for the analysis of acquisition and development opportunities. Prior experience includes debt and equity brokerage roles at Northmarq and LGA Capital. Garrett received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Richmond.
